As we navigate this unprecedented crisis together, Blue Ridge Psychological Services has taken the step to partially close our office to in-person meetings. At this time, we do offer limited in-person meetings with some of our therapists and evaluators, while we also continue to be offering telehealth services so that you and/ or your child can remain connected to your therapist. This will allow you to speak to your therapist from the safety of your own home via your smart phone, tablet, or computer. If you prefer to meet in-person, please ask us if this is available for your therapist. We hope that you recognize that those of us who have preexisting conditions or at-risk family members at home may only be offering virtual appointments. Because we recogonize internet speeds vary in our area, we will also be able to connect via the phone when necessary.
We hope that you and your loved ones will remain healthy during these challenging times. It is important that we support each other and stay connected to the outside world. The COVID-19 virus has planted seeds of uncertainty in us all, threatening not only our physical health but our mental health as well. While following the guidelines of social distancing is important, isolation can be detrimental to our mental state. Thus, we encourage everyone, despite the challenges, to remain connected to your therapist during this time. Please feel free to reach out to us to schedule your appointment today.
